North California Shooting: 5 Dead, Children Wounded

In another shocking incident of gun violence in America, an armed man killed five and injure at least 10 people in a small Northern California town on Tuesday, before he was shot dead by the police.

According to police reports, the gunman opened fire at seven different locations during his rampant violent spree through the small neighborhood. Armed with a semiautomatic rifle and two handguns, he first shot his neighbor, a woman with whom he had a continuing dispute, and then went on a shooting spree, as he fired randomly at people walking on the streets and sitting in their homes.

He later entered elementary school but fortunately, was unable to get into the classrooms thanks to the alertness of the school officials. The incident could have been worse if he had got access into the elementary school.

The gunman, later identified as Kevin Janson Neal, 44, had killed five and wounded at least ten before he was gunned down by cops. At least two of the injured are children, whereas the dead were all adults, say reports.
