MM Keeravani has become quite vocal in expressing his views on social media these days. He said many of the directors that he worked with are idiots.
He also made similar controversial comments recently that received huge backlash.
Yet, the senior music composer is letting out his anger regarding some issues.
Reacting to a tweet made by RGV, Keeravani revealed that a top Bollywood singer refused to croon a song for the Malayalam version of “Baahubali 2”.
The music director alleged that the singer felt he was humiliated on being asked to sing for a dubbed movie.
Generally, top singers render their voice for original movies. When a movie is dubbed into other languages, local singers belonging to the dubbed language get the chance to sing it. So, naturally the said top Bollywood singer would have refused to sing for the dubbed version.
But in his tweet, Keervani slammed the singer without revealing his name post the release of “Baahubali 2”.
Although the said top singer should not have said that it is humiliating to sing in a particular language. No language is inferior or superior.
A professional singer or artiste should not feel that they have descended from heaven. At the same time, question arises why hasn’t Keeravani revealed this before “Baahubali 2”.
Why is he raising this only after ‘Baahubali 2’ shattered all records in all languages? He didn’t want to rake up negative publicity before the release?
