Director Jaya B, who made decent films such as Lovely, Vaisakham, is gearing up for another youthful family entertainer. Her next film has been christened as Lucky Fellow. Coinciding with her bithrday on Jan 11th, Jaya has announced the title of her film.
However, she has kept the names of the film’s cast under the wraps. While we hear that the film would feature well-known and prominent cast, director Jaya and producer BA Raju are not interested to reveal the names at the moment and want to maintain the suspense for a while.
It is learnt that Lucky Fellow will be an out-and-out commercial entertainer. Apparently, the film’s story is based on an interesting element of human psychology. It is buzzed that a happening young hero has given his nod. The director of films Chantigadu, Lovely and Vaisakham said the hero’s characterization would be different and interesting.
Jaya : More Lady Directors Should Come
Dynamic lady director Jaya B has given a call to aspiring women filmmakers to come and prove their talent. Started her career as a journalist and having worked in several popular vernaculars, Jaya says, “When I was a journalist, I was the only lady journalist with Andhra Jyothy in Vijayawada. Later I was a visiting professor to a journalism college where I had inspired many women to take up journalism especially reporting. Today I see many women journalists around. This is a good move. With the same spirit, I would like to see more lady directors in Tollywood in the upcoming years. Today, we have only three or four lady directors.”
